The film follows the adventures of Salim, who is preparing to take someone into his life.

To escape what has happened to him, Salim has created a world for himself in the wilderness, far from roads and people, like a hermit. The mayor's surprise is to introduce Salim to Salime, an orphaned girl who will become his life partner. They hold a wedding ceremony among themselves. Following the wedding, the village headman dies in an accident, and Salim and Salime, who set off on a journey to the headman's hometown for the funeral arrangements, find themselves caught up in a series of tragicomic events.
